Millionhairs Skydive – Julian Campbell

The team at Millionhairs are taking part in a skydive in honour of the Julian Campbell charity.

Courageously and bravely, Andy Andreou and his team put themselves forward for the skydive in an attempt to raise money and awareness for the charity whose purpose is to support children and adults with Bi-polar Disorder.

Being a child should be one of the happiest moments of someone’s life and by donating, each penny can help prevent Bi-polar Disorder from taking that away.

With skydiving being a nerve-wracking experience itself, Andy must be applauded for selflessly overcoming his own fear of heights for the benefit of the Julian Campbell Foundation. Sadly, people with Bi-polar disorder are often overlooked, however by supporting the Julian Campbell Foundation, we’re supporting the sufferers who are inevitably just like you or me.

Come Together

Maria Pomi set up the charity ‘Come Together’ in order to raise awareness of those less fortunate than us and to highlight the difference that can be made if we unite against the problems that others face.

Maria has been on the forefront of many projects that have changed people’s lives for the better and is one who’s inspired others to make a small change that will have a big impact. Her previous work has included raising £1895 for the Red Cross, £968 for the victims of the Japan earthquake/tsunami and raised £2061 for Breast Cancer Research.

Maria’s latest Come Together charity project involves collecting pens and pencils for schools and orphanages in Africa and India. There are a number of businesses where people can donate their new or used pens and pencils. With each pen donated, you could be re-writing someone else’s future, for the better. LGR – Big Summer Send Off

With LGR events proving to be mahoosive successes (just take a look at the Ivi Adamou concert back in April), it’s no doubt that this event is going to be a date for the diary. On the 14th of June 2012, LGR Club Nights hosting their Summer Send Off at The Stone Marquee club in Whetstone.

Stan will be performing, alongside DJ Funksy and Andreas Michaelides playing the very latest and greatest hits to keep the atmosphere buzzing.
